Genma is a minor character and his first appearance is in Chapter 34.

Senbon (AKA the toothpick)

Senbon's are long thin metal needles that can be used for medical treatment but most shinobi and tracker ninjas use them as weapon. Although they can easily pierce their skin, their only deadly if they hit a vital organ.

Genma uses this as a weapon, spitting it out at the enemy to attack them, or to deflect ranged weapon attacks.
